Prayer Request in August 2024
2024年8月代禱事項
感恩神使用，讓我們分別在六月及七月份有機會帶領華人教會認識伊斯蘭及進行文化體驗，求主親自在弟兄姊妹心中動工，興起他們關心及為穆斯林禱告的心，願意向穆斯林鄰舍分享基督信仰，見證主。
記念29/7-1/8，我們會接待香港及英國信徒的短宣隊，求主保守各人路途，預備參加者的心。行程中將安排參觀印度廟、錫克教廟及伊斯蘭社區，從而認識不同民族的文化及宗教信仰，並進行街頭佈道。求主開啟弟兄姊妹屬靈的眼睛，看見英國工場的需要，興起更多主的門徒作主的工。
記念17/8及18/8我們會分別到Tameside 及Oldham 華人教會證道及在青少年主日學中與 年青人分享英國的不同宗教，求主賜我們智慧，能適切的回應年青人的屬靈需要。

記念世美的牙齒問題，30/7 約見牙醫，求主醫治。
我們的汽車過去一年不時出現問題，不時需要進行維修及不同檢查，一方面引起工作上的不便；另一方面維修及檢查費用也是額外的開支，我們正在考慮換車，求主幫助我們作出合適的選擇，希望能換一架車齡比較新及可靠的汽車，免卻頻繁的維修。求主為我們預備。
Prayer Request in Aug 2024:
With gratitude to the Almighty, we have had the privilege in June and July to lead the Chinese congregation in understanding Islam and engaging in cultural experiences. May the Lord personally stir in the hearts of our brothers and sisters, kindling within them a spirit of compassion and prayer for Muslims, willing to share the faith of Christ with Muslim neighbours, and to testify to the Lord.
On the dates 29/7-1/8, we will be hosting a short term mission team from Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. May the Lord safeguard each individual's journey and prepare the hearts of the participants. During the itinerary, visits to Indian temples, Sikh temples, and Islamic communities will be arranged, enabling an understanding of different cultural and religious beliefs of various ethnicities, along with engaging in street outreach. May the Lord open the spiritual eyes of our brothers and sisters to see the needs in the UK fields, raising up more disciples of the Lord to do His work.
On the dates 17/8 and 18/8, we will be separately ministering at the Tameside and Oldham Chinese churches, Anthony will be preaching and May will be sharing about the various religions in the UK with young people in Sunday school. May the Lord grant us wisdom to appropriately respond to the spiritual needs of the youth.
On the date of 25/8 , May will preaching at the Nottingham Chinese church, may the Lord bestow His message upon us.
Remembering the dental issues of May on 30/7 she has an appointment with the dentist. May the Lord provide healing.
Over the past year, our car has experienced intermittent issues, requiring frequent repairs and various checks, causing inconvenience in our work on one hand. On the other hand, the costs of repairs and checks are additional expenses. We are considering purchasing a new car. May the Lord help us make the appropriate choice, hoping to acquire a newer and more reliable vehicle, thereby avoiding frequent repairs. May the Lord make provisions for us.
